Can it? Losing the Super Bowl, especially that soggy mess we saw Sunday has a way of ruining what, by virtue of winning enough to go to game itself, was a great season. The 2006 Bears were fun to watch, fun to root for and given the sad sack, mediocre nature of most of the last 50 years of Bears football, more than we’re used to.
Since the Super Bowl didn’t give us much we want to remember (except for Devin Hester and Thomas Jones), this video that somebody put together before the Super Bowl will do nicely.
Even after a loss, it’s still a proud thing to be a Bears fan.
Of course, we could have been a little prouder…

Now that this has passed us, how long til pitchers and catchers…or, how long until we sew Kerry’s arm back on?

The Defense could not keep the Colts Offense off of the field. That was due to the fact that they never adjusted the Defensive scheme. Too much Cover Two and not enough Blitzes. The Cover Two would have worked but the only one making his tackles that night was Briggs. Vasher did a great job covering Harrison.
TJ ran the ball for over 100 yards on 15 carries, yet that is all they gave him. 15 carries!! Why did they abandon the run??
Grossman made his mistakes but in know way is this all his fault. Turner is just as much to blame for this. He never adjusted. He called for passing plays when we were 1 yard from moving the chains. He saw his QB was struggling the whole night and yet put it all on his shoulders.
You did not watch the same game as us true football and Bear fans did. Take up street hockey or something dude. This game is not for the weak hearted or simple minded.
