Since the advent of YouTube and cell phone cameras we’re suckers for reaction shots of two kinds. Cubs’ fans losing their minds over a big home run and Bears’ fans during any Devin Hester kick return.
Yesterday, in an eventual 4-3 loss to the Brewers, Cubs’ right fielder Kosuke Fukudome, introduced himself to his new fans with three hits, the last of which (a three run bomb) tied the game at three in the ninth, and set off this:

Also, you have to love the guy yelling in the background as the ball is in the air.
Also, we caution the ledge jumpers who pop up during the Gamecasts. This is a good team, and while there will certainly come a time during the season to go to the ledge and jump, it sure as hell isn’t March 31. So give it a rest. You make our brains hurt.
But wait…there’s more:
I agree with NY Post media critic Phil Mushnick that you explain Bren Musberger’s career in one simple sentence, “He’s been ruining sports for 35 years.” But Brent was on the mic yesterday for ESPN2 and it was fitting since the weather was more like an Ohio State – Michigan football game. Brent didn’t do too badly here.

And, one of Yellon’s minions took this picture (I’d just post the picture, but Al hates me, so just click, use some of his bandwidth and then click back.)

Nice to see E-ramis up on his toes and ready to hustle during pitches, eh?
Fuk-u… Isn’t that a Scottish martial art?
what I walk away with is that somehow the 4-3 loss wasn’t as bad as a 3-0 loss would have been. It was good to see them fight back somehow, it was good to see Fooky get off to the start he had, and it was good to see the folly of the Theriot-Soriano Daily Double.
That’s about right, Sloth.
Brewers should have cruised behind a great performance by Sheets. But now they have the uncomfortable visage of Eric Gagne, fresh off being named in the Mitchell Report, completely shatting himself in rather spectacular fashion.
I don’t work anymore.
Don’t Cub fans have the image of Kerry Wood, fresh off being named closer, completely shatting himself?
Looks like ESPN got the second YouTube yanked.
Both teams basically played the same game. Great starting pitching, ninth inning offense–both closer implosions–and the Brewers got one off Howry when the Cubs couldn’t get to Mota.
As much as I’d like to think there is, I don’t think there’s a whole lot of difference in talent between the two teams.
That’s where Ned comes in to give the Cubs an edge.
Mota, Riske, whoever. I can’t even remember and don’t care to look it up.
Was watching the fuku-HR in the train station with a ton of people skipping their next train to see what would happen. everyone went crazy. it was really sweet.
The second youtube:

I don’t work anymore.
I wish that I could say the same, but Ms. Cubbieblue won’t let me reitire
I could show you how to take care of that problem, #9.
Possibly the new Fukkake home run call?
“Get the fuk out!” is a lot better than “swung on and belted!”
(wearing a turquoise sweater with the “superstation wtbs atlanta” logo)
“swung on and belted!”
So what did Bren Musberger say?
Also, Ramirez knewFukkake was going yard.
“A star is born in the teeth of a Lake Michigan wind!”
By this point of the game we were at Sluggers acting like drunken fools b/c we were sick of getting rained on at the game and they stopped serving beer. I have never heard a bar be so loud and I was inside the faces of a couple of Brewers fans that were there. I can’t believe punches weren’t thrown. Then they lost. Bonerkill. But I still celebrated the Home Lun with a jello shot that I spilled all over my jersey. I hate myself.
Sounds like something Chip would make up. Please, guys: this “nickname is stupid, tired, and old already. We get it.
Never!
Would you prefer Fuk-U instead, #16? I know I would!
