Remember that Jay quit the Sun Times last summer because he finally figured out that Interwebs were the wave of the future (present) and he didn’t think the Sun Times and their archaic Web site were properly positioned to properly display his talents.
That’s right, in order to prove what a melifluent writer he is, he quit a job that allowed more than a million people to read his brilliance on a daily basis.
But hah! Jay now has the last laugh, because on Monday he’s going to start his new online writing job.
Who’s it with? ESPN.com and their multi-million readers? Nope.
SI.com? No.
Yahoo!?
Uh. No.
Fanhouse.
Fanhouse? You mean that site still exists? AOL Fanhouse? Even though nobody’s used AOL to get on the Web in six years?
Oh, Jay, you clearly are the dumbest human ever.
Enjoy your much deserved stagger back to obscurity.
Besides, I know you’re still pissed you left the Sun Times too early to be part of this Internet brilliance.
Well, holy shit. I thought Fanhouse was ended a few years ago, too.
HA HA!
I want my hair style and Vitalis back, Jay.
It’s been longer than me since people stopped using AOL as their ISP, no?
Was he hoping to get a better offer from Mindspring?
I thought for sure he was going to take the offer from Chuck to Chuck.
Dolan, you still read Deadspin?
Dork.
ROTFLMMFAO! Douche Rocket = Mariotti
