My favorites are Buck Coats (the Hee Haw jokes never got old last summer when the Lugnuts came to town), Felix Pie, Rocky Cherry and I never got to see Andy Sisco pitch because he punched out a dugout wall with his pitching hand.
Of note from this chat is Callis’ news that the Cubs offered Juan Cruz and Todd Wellemeyer to the Twins for AJ Pierzynski and got rebuffed.
I also saw Jason Dopirak hit the longest homer of the summer, and that’s something when you see Prince Fielder play in 70 games.
