As a frequent listener of MLB Network Radio, I have come to appreciate the level headed analysis of former Mets and Orioles GM Jim Duquette (he’s the cousin of current Orioles GM Dan). Â This summer, Jim was gone for a while, because his ten year old daughter Lindsey needed a kidney transplant, and he was the donor.
All went well, and Jim and Lindsey were at the Baseball Writers Association dinner, receiving the “You Gotta Have Heart” award. Â Both gave speeches, and…well, just watch. Â They’re both pretty cool.
