A couple of things

Intrepid reader Johnny Rhoads went above and beyond the call of duty today, and he has photographic proof. I even went ahead and gave him a nifty photo credit, because he had to actually do more than right click and save for this baby.

Anyway, we appreciate it.

Here’s his tale.

I was out and about driving around yesterday, and I saw something quite cool. In fact, it was such an interesting sight that I decided to go back today, camera in tow, and take a picture of it. I attached the file.

In case you’re curious, the thing in the picture is located on the western outskirts of a small town west of Peoria called Trivoli.

Who knew?

Other than this guy.

And—our second thing, since I’m like the biggest Shawon Dunston fan, ever, I thought I’d share a link to Carrie Muskat’s (wow, what a terrible name) piece on Cubs.com about Shawon coming back to help out in Spring Training.

When I was a kid, I did a pretty good job of picking my favorite player, didn’t I?

    Nah, I call bull$hit. That sign is actually taken from a fraternity or soroity, that has "pi" in it, then turned on its side.

    Or, maybe it was a sign to point out where Stonehenge is, turned on its side.

    There cain’t be no Moran Road, there is, however, Moran Trucking.
