The Cubs had taken things and moved them from the folder that said ‘bad’ to the one that said ‘worse.’  After rallying back from a 4-0 deficit to eventually lead 7-4, they not only blew the lead, but trailed the mighty Colorado Rockies 8-7 going into the bottom of the ninth.

The homestand from hell had already seen them blow a one-run ninth inning lead, get no-hit, and get blown out, and now this.

But Kris Bryant would have none of it.

They may not always do it right, but they never quit.
