I’m so hungover today, Jim. What happened yesterday? Last I remember, I was talking to you about Clement, Gonzo, Mitre, and cash for Nomar.
I can’t believe more Cub fans aren’t excited that they GOT TO KEEP ME and get Nomar too!
Anyone know what nec aspera terent (a new sign on the LBC) means?
My ERA was 2.21 in the rare 16+ innings pitched moron Dusty decided to use me. Think Dempster can match that? Bitches!!!
”Difficulties be damned”.
Patterson
Nomar!
Alou
Sosa
Lee
E-ram
Grud
Bako
Maddox
Well, Chip is in full ass-clown mode already, this is going to be painful to listen to all day. You can already hear his voice rises that extra half-octave, and that always means trouble.
BTW Dolan, you want some karma, bub? Find our friend the Cardinals Moran, and note the prescient anagram:
Moran ==> Nomar
It’s our year….
Yup, I have a 245 OBP in July, 32 K’s and just 27 times on base. So bat me leadoff in front of Nomah, great friggin’ idea!!
Dusty==Retard
The new guy’s name is Omar, right? I’ve already called him that twice.
Calm down, Chuck, Dusty even had ME lead off against Oakland that one time.
I am not doing Greggie any favors today.
Greggie sucks the air out of us again.
Three Outs. Wow.
With Patterson, Nomar and Alou hitting 1-2-3, the Cubs may set a record for least number of pitches seen in history. Nomar is an even more notorious first pitch hitter than Alou, if you can believe that.
I went "yard" in my first AB with the Sawx.
oh, how I long for the Orlando Cabrera era we had.
Dusty: Uppercut swings today, ok?"
It’s Bako time bitches! Or, maybe not.
Chippie sure know how to give a good interview. He asks the same questions that were asked yesterday. Way to go Chip!
Nomar!!!
I just got home. Who’s trying to be me by quoting my KKKorey shtick?
Is someone plagarising me? I thought only Eddie Munster did that.
I confess, it was me, Chuck.
Did Macias stay in the game?
A. Ramirez 1B
D. Lee 3B
Is it just me, or when Bowa shook his head after the 8th was he saying, "Crap. Where’s my next paycheck coming from?"
Hey, did you see my game losing error.
It was a proud moment felt by all today as Cubs fans. This moment has to be attributed to Jim Hendry having the gumption to say, "Hey, we are the Cubs, and we will be for real this year."
You have to believe the baseball Gods are with us after this blockbuster trade.
Today was a sight to see how Nomar felt with this team. This guy will enjoy Chicago. Chicago will enjoy Nomar.
This trade could get this team rolling in the right direction. The direction we should have been going before all these injuries.
I don’t know if it can happen. But if you are a Cub believer out there, and I know after this weekend(with this trade, anything can happen)the Red Satanic Fowl beware.
We definitely need to concentrate on wins. But win, after win, after win, could equal creeping up on the Satanic Fowl.
We just have to believe. If it takes No-Mar to equal No-Fear anymore, you have to believe good things will come.
I have to attribute some credit to Andy Dolan for being one of the most positive optimists the past couple weeks. He sensed something good, and something good did happen in Nomar. Andy, I give you props. I owe you an Old Style. Everbody hoist up those Old Styles and give a toast to our good old buddy, Andy Dolan.
Here’s to Andy Dolan…Old Style, fully kreusened, the old world way…
I’d rather bathe in a bathtub filled with John Kruk’s piss than drink Old Style.
Actually, same diff, pretty much.
#31…Good Call!
#32…STFU, Miller! You are now owned by South Africans, you can’t be the president of beers. Budweiser tastes like John Kruk’s piss, but Bud Light, not so much.
#33, you suck, I’m much better, and remember, I gots THE TWIIIIINS!
