This book (http://www.amazon.com/Room-A-Novel-Emma-Donoghue/dp/0316098329/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8), however, blew me away.
Very hard subject matter, but written in a really interesting and compelling way.
It's just a couple day read, depending on how much time you can devote, but it was really powerful.
I haven't seen the movie, so no idea how it translates.
