OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

I haven't looked at his actual numbers, but he strikes me as a +VORP short-term fill in for KB.

Hopefully that GW BB will be a good memory to get him through the rest of the Iowa summer.

Desipio Lounge / Cubs/Brewers Series 6/11 - 6/13

If anyone is going to any of the games in Milwaukee, I'd be happy to meet for beers, hangout at the park, etc.

15.2 over 3 starts (could go deeper) but a 2.30 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 3 starts is about all we could ask for out of a 4/5 starter.

I've caught Tsuyoshimania brother.

Desipio Lounge / The Trestinky Offense
October 06, 2013, 01:26:16 PM
New coach, same results against good football teams.

Trestman may be the guy, but we'll never know by limping along with a solid, but rapidly aging defense and an offense that is incompetent more often than not.  The Cutler trade set this franchise back a good bit.

Time to blow it up and rebuild.  There's no way this team wins a playoff game, let alone a Super Bowl.

Watching teams with real QBs and offensive talent is growing tiresome and frustrating.  I wonder what it'd be like to have an offense that was within the ballpark of doing what the Saints have done for half a decade.  A QB with all of 2 in completions at halftime, against a good defense?  God that would be fun to watch.

Too bad we'll never know that.

Desipio Lounge / 3 or 4 to the Rams
September 10, 2012, 10:41:55 PM
If anyone happens to hear of 3 or 4 to the Rams game, I'd appreciate a PM.  Or if you want to go sit in an empty stadium that Friday and watch the Cubs undermine the Deadbirds' wild card chances, let me know.  I'll be in town that weekend.

Did Garza get dealt?  Tossed? Hurt?  I'm guessing the former is why he got pulled after 3 in St. Louis.

Also, who the hell is Justin Germano?  He tossed a scoreless inning against the Deadbirds, so I'm semi-aroused.

Also, nice slide tackle by Holliday with no chance of hitting the bag.  If Quade has spikes on, he should've run out and went spikes up right into Cousins.

Also, the next time Holliday is up, he better eat one in the earhole.

Desipio Lounge / Favre Farewell Tour Thread
November 14, 2010, 01:17:02 PM
Cutler is looking good...the o-line is looking kinda competent, the refs are looking especially shitty, and I like the Bears' chances to win today.

I also want to see Favre's last game at Soldier Field be a crushing loss.

10 K's in 6 innings...had no clue who Thomas Diamond was before tonight.

Is this a one-hit wonder, or the start of a two-part epic, rocking, sploogefest?
