Chyna, dead at 45

WWII buffs and human beings in general will really enjoy this story of the Germans invading Norway and trying to produce the heavy water Heisenberg thought he needed to give the Nazis a nuke.

It covers both the German science perspective and the Norwegian/British perspective with the third perspective of the owner of the Norsk Hydro plant that was used to make the heavy water and eventually sabotaged multiple times.

It's a six parter with each episode clocking in around 45 minutes. It's on Netflix.

Listening to a podcast called You Must Remember This. The host did a 12 part series on the Manson Family Murders and called it Charles Manson's Hollywood.

It's fascinating like not much I've listened to. I'm almost finished with the series but the fringe characters in the story have really grabbed my attention. For example, Manson's gross cult of what I assume were nasssssty girls affected so many people in pretty terrible ways - not many worse than Dennis Wilson. Dennis seemed like a pretty screwed up dude from the start but once he got mixed up with Manson, who thought he could use Wilson to get himself a recording contract.

Anyway, after Wilson disassociated himself from Manson and then found out what he had done it obviously ruined him more than he already was.

Curious to hear some of your thoughts on Dennis Wilson in general. Been thinking about giving Pacific Ocean Blue a listen considering the state he must have been in when he wrote it. I find it absolutely fascinating.

Got so excited I pre-ordered it. Moving around feels a little clunky and I have no idea what all the different shit you can do when you're in combat is but I'm about to go try and kill a massive griffin so yay?

If you even remotely enjoyed 30 Rock (so, most of you) you need to start watching this. I'm through 5 eps and the jokes are embedded into every line. It's amazing.

This movie entertained me and somewhat horrified me. I didn't like it and wouldn't watch it again. I would recommend it.

Jeff Tambor as a dad who finally comes out as trans. Fucked up family. 10 half hour episodes on amazon streaming.

Worth checking out for sure. Really interesting, funny, sad, also sometimes irritating. Hard to like any of these people except for Tambor.

Yeah we watched this last night.

It's another teen-ish girl in a future dystopia who has the power to ruin or fix everything story. One of four movies to come. I'm sure they'll make loads of cash. I thought the main actress was fucking horrible in this thing. My wife disagreed and so do some of the critics apparently.

I have no idea why any of you would see this movie but if you did I hope you enjoyed all two goddamn hours of it.

Season one on netflix is only 6 episodes long. The new season is airing now I believe on Sundance channel.

Anyone watch this? BBC America show that tries very hard not to let you in on the secret: THEYRE ALL CANADIAN. The British people? Canadian? The non-Canadian accent havers? CANADIAN. It's filmed in Toronto despite the opening scene trying to get you to believe they're in New York.

Anyway, when I can forget that they're all Canadians it's an ok show. The actress who plays all the clones is very attractive and likes to show her butt. It's a bit ridiculous a lot of the time but 10 eps and it's free with Amazon Prime.
