Is it acceptable to bemoan the loss of DeRosa yet?

Not when Fontenot has a 550 point edge in OPS.

Wait until it gets down to 200 or so.

How do they compare in Joe Morgan-approved OPSMO?

Never sign shitty ex-Cardinals.

Especially the ones who aren't tall enough to ride Space Mountain without their parents.

Fontenot+DeRosa > Miles+DeRosa

It holds true in just about every way including the all-important "stubble" metric.

Natch. Ty Wiggington hits a home run against us every time. Addition by subtraction.

I was just impressed with his abiltiy to disarm a gunman holding him hostage.

If the gunman were pitching a baseball, Miles'd be dead now.
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

You ain't kiddin.   When they were announcing the opening lineups yesterday,   other than DeePeeLee it looked like a cast of Danny Devito's and Verne Troyer's.

I know that 1 game out of 162 is miniscule, but it was nice to win with that lineup.  No Bradley, no Pancakes, no Soto.  It was like rooting for your team during WWII.  That lineup screamed 4F.

I'm surprised the PA at Wrigely Field didn't play "Hi Ho Hi Ho It's Off to Work We Go" when the Cubs took the field.
