Masterpiece Mystery Zen

Not all of the BBC mysteries that we get on PBS are this engrossing.  Good production quality.  Great scenery, providing that you like Rome.  Good story lines.  And, obviously, very good actors.  There is some sociology of which I was unaware.  The lead character, police detective Aurelio Zen (no, he is not a Buddhist), is from Venice, therefore an outsider in Rome and there is some subtle discrimination against him.
