OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Saw Devin Townsend last night. Everyone should see him at some point. What a character.

You get PJ tix?

Pinback was great in San Diego.  Any of you people still listen to Pinback?
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?

I enjoyed their Metro show in November, but it was definitely a change of pace from past shows of theirs I've been to.

How so?  This was my first.  Has Rob Crow not always performed The Worm during Fortress?

The previous two times I've seen them it was much more low key, with both of the guys seated the whole time. The first time, I don't even recall them having a drummer. November's show was much more of a straight up rock show. Not necessarily worse or better. Just different.

Kurt Vile, anyone?  I got a couple of tix. Really looking forward to this show.

Also, anyone here a fan of Sigur Ros?  They're playing UIC in April.

Riot Fest lineup predictably ridiculous.

I think there's a law that says Stars has to play every festival.

2 nights, 2 cities, 2 very different venues, 4 hours of music. The Avett Brothers can rock a dick completely off

Despite Jon's protest I reiterate this sentiment. Kresge is also a fantastic venue.

??? = Westerberg and Stinson together (sans Mars), or so the story goes.  Wish I knew which night that was going to be.

Palladia has been showing a 1995 Mad Season concert for fans of Alice in chains, pearl jam and/or screaming trees, following the reissue to above. It's magical.

Some friends of mine from Nashville - Smooth Hound Smith - are playing Schuba's tonight, and they're fucking excellent.

If you've got nothing better to do, and I'm guessing you haven't, go and see them.
Your toilet's broken, Dave, but I fixed it.
