Wow, that was fast.

Good riddance.
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

Jerry offers his condolences.

The comments, like always, really hit the nail on the head.

"Media killed Paterno. They were out to get him years ago before any asst. creep show. It's time PSU and USA wake up to media and take them on in the streets."

This whole "turning a blind eye to child rape" thing was just a convenient pretext.

But he didn't even know it was possible.

True.  Paterno could have lived a long and fulfilling life if it weren't for that damn media.

With Joe dying, does this mean his previous testimony is thrown out? If so, would imagine the previous AD, president and police would just say that Joe never told them anything and walk?

I smell a conspiracy of Ludlum-esque proportions. The Paterno Testimony.

As we've said in the SBox, his grand jury testimony is out (it was out anyway, since there was no cross), but this makes McQueary the principal witness.

I'll hang up and wait to hear from a real lawyer.

This made me laugh, heartily, because it reminded me of the caller I heard on the Score the other morning who suggested that Paterno's death was indeed the result of a conspiracy to cover up that whole thing, or something.
