Rob Base is going to have to retire.  Rodney Bryce, better known as DJ E-Z Rock (the originator of THAT sample) is dead at 46.

I have no idea whether his music was credible or not, but it was the gateway into Hip-Hop for a lot of middle-class, white, teenage boys like me.  So, yay?
