OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Heyward hitting is the last component to come online in this doomsday machine.

BUMP!?

He did do a thing.

He did that thing to left center, too, which was an encouraging sign. Since we take any positive sign from him that we can get, however small the sample, he is 7-15 with a walk and 3 XBH in his last 17 PAs so...yay?

I know it won't happen, but I don't think he should start again for the rest of the playoffs. I'd rather see Soler, Contreras or -- gulp -- even Coghlan in the outfield.

He's got two more extra base hits than Rizzo and Russell combined in the playoffs so far so that's neat

If Zobrist and Rizzo can step it the fuck up a little more consistently, the Cubs should be able to live with Heyward and Russell's bullshit.  You shouldn't have to surrender legit gold glove defense if those first two fellas are doing their expected part at the plate.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

I don't think he should be starting at all. But even if you think he should be in the lineup, there's no reason he should be hitting 6th.

Someone has to smother the rally.

I'm almost thinking not even 8th but 9-hole for this automatic out. Shocked he even drew a walk earlier.

Can we please bench him forever? He's a walking black hole of WAR.

Nobody will defend his bat, but let's not forget his momentum-killing throw-out at home in Game 4 that occurred before the Cubs bats came alive. The Dodgers might've had a very different inning, and game, had that out not occurred.
