No, seriously, Joe Walsh.  I don't  think anyone expected Joe to *not* be the first Eagle to shuffle off.

I think everyone was hoping for Henley to go first. Especially the other Eagles.

No doubt.  Pretty sure it's a universally accepted fact how insufferable Henley was/is.

And while Frey indeed made some pretty questionable music as a solo artist in the 80's, "Smugglers Blues" should be exempt from this characterization.

I'm terribly worried that in the genuinely bad circumstances of Glenn Frey's early death due to an excruciating disease, people will forget the Eagles are fucking awful.
