I think it was a joke about how he just seems so unremarkable and white while doing rather remarkable things. Earlier in the season my friend nicknamed him Ghost Runner because it seemed like he was always on base yet we mostly had no recall of him doing anything to get there, but that was back when he was mostly walking and hitting for no power (The Ol' Heyward) in April before he went into God Mode.
