On a semi-related note, former Bears DE Israel Idonije auditioned today (in Chicago) for a commercial we're shooting next week.
I don't think he's right for this specific part, but he has some acting chops.

In case anyone was wondering what he was up to these days.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

Not for potatoes, but I venture he might be a solid fit for them.

The Mitch Trubisky era should be starting any minute now.

Are they going to take the shackles off Trubisky at some point or nah.

This team has actually been kind of fun to watch.

The defense is a lot of fun to watch, starting to remind me of the Urlacher/Briggs/Brown D, not there yet, but they're starting to hit their stride. On the other side, it's fucking painful to watch that offense, even with Howard and Cohen. I'd say it's time to take the kid gloves off...but they haven't let him graduate to even having kid gloves yet.

Turbinski not showing the accuracy that was advertised.

They should probably cut their losses and go back to Mike Glennon now, right Chuck

I don't know how you legitimately evaluate Trubisky with that supporting cast. That's the worst set of receivers I've ever seen, and the Bears have put out some really fucking shitty receiving groups. I'd rather see Knox and Hester back out there. Trubisky could suck, he could be good, I'm not drawing any conclusions until he has actual players around him.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

I think that there is some kind of "dropitis"  epidemic in the Bay Area.  I spent Sunday afternoon watching Raider and 49er receivers drop everything that hit them in the hands.
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

Agreed. But he missed at least four or five passes yesterday that were under thrown, overthrown or behind his target. Wasn't very encouraging.

Very unhappy that Paced is allowing this coaching staff to try to teach this kid given they all may be out in 9 weeks. Still think they should have fired Fox before the year started or extended him so the coaching staff could focus on development and not on wins.

How many throws did they let him make the last two weeks before Sunday, 16 and 7 I think? Kid can't even get into a rhythm. I've definitely seen enough to be cautiously optimistic on the Trubisky Train.
