Re-live Sammy Sosa’s greatest season, a fun but bad Cubs team that spent most of the summer inexplicably in first place, three gut wrenching bullpen losses, one of the wildest nights in Cubs history where an umpire ejected a Chicago Bears lineman from the broadcast booth (and that wasn’t even the craziest thing that happened). It’s the 2001 Chicago Cubs. It was a wildly enjoyable season that ended with a big wet thud. But a memorable big wet thud.
