Option 7: Fuck it.

Once I've got a feel for what people want, I can start working on it.
Or, vote Option #7, and I take the summer off.
I figured that's what Friday was for.
There should be an option to pick multiple ones. I'd be for the suite, rooftop, or going to St. Loo (since it's a hop-skip for me). Hell, maybe we could have a drink-fest at the Yeti shithole afterwards if that becomes the choice.

We did Shitty's and a rooftop in 2008. Figured I'd see if anyone wanted to do anything this summer.

Aren't rooftops nearly $165/person? If so, that makes anyone picking a rooftop over a suite a big old PANK.

rooftop will probably run about $125-150/head, with food & beer included.
Plus, not even the management at Brixen Ivy are as tightassed as the Cubs.

I might be able to get a deal on a package for the Wrigley Done Right rooftop. I'm not sure if it would be much cheaper than $125, but I've been up there a few times and never had a problem. Plus, they make good dogs and burgers.
Voted Milwaukee, but I'd probably be up for any of the options. Except for the ones that don't suck and don't involve Wheezer's presence.
Giving the Cubs our money sounds awesome. They've given us so much in return.
I'm going to go with rooftop.
I've been in the suites several times before and we'd get tossed by the middle of the 6th.
Bleachers would be a clusterfuck unless we all got there early and at the same time.
Also consider that there are a number of us (including myself) that would end up killing some Chad dipshit.
St. Louis? 5 hour bus ride down, 4 hours minimum at the park, 5 hour bus ride back.
Do you realize how much hugging Kerm will manage in that time span?

I know a manager up there. I probably couldn't do anything about any sort of deal, but I can be assured that we wouldn't get kicked out. Let me chat with her and see what she can do.
Also, as for bleachers, I think we can totally work it out where we'd all get there pretty early. It ain't that tough.
Bus ride to St Louis? Fuck that.

Since no one likes spending money, how about this option? We pick a nice, warm Saturday afternoon game in June, and totally take over one of the bars down there. I call dibs on sitting next to flannj.

If we take over a bar, does it have to be in Wrigleyville? Why not find someplace with parking, where maybe we can get some games of cornhole going before/after the Cubs play?

I like beer. And I like bars. And I like strippers. Wait, what were we talking about?
Obviously lunch buffets.
If I hate and fear the suburbs, I'm not going all the way to LA Peoria.
Might as well be Iowa'd
Iowa wouldn't work. None of us live there. NONE OF US.

You finally moved out of Iowa? I thought you were a Hawkeye for life.

I second Oleg's implied plan to rent out a bar and hire naked bartenders.

Just to be clear - we're talking female bartenders, right?

So this has only been a thread for 12 days and I just now saw it. I should read my own messageboard once and a while.

I'll keep you posted on what's happening on the message board if you let me know if anything important happens in the Shoutbox.

I'm not around much, either, but here's what I've gathered:
BK likes soccer
field goals make Yeti's nuts quiver in anticipation
you've humped your hand/women for over 20 hours in the past 21 years
There are other things going on(some stupid political/video game threads that no one really cares about and won't die), but nothing you need to concern yourself with. You're the leader of this here place and you need to get those batteries charged up for the coming Cubs World Series run. We want quasi-Daily Doses and fewer tweets. No one reads tweets. Tweets are for soccer fans and teenyboppers. You just look for the threads with JD posts and we'll all be sittin in butter come October. Or ROCKtober as we'll probably call it.

IAN's going to get jealous of you. You're stealing my man-love.

So, now you're gonna challenge ME to a swordfight, too? It's gonna be awfully stimulating with you, me, Hartley, BK, and IAN. We'll have to pair up. And, in that case, we should have to have a tourney with seeds and numbers and such. But, then someone will be left out. They always are. And Jim Boeheim will make a big fuss about just letting EVERYONE in. No, let's forget about the competition aspect of it and just have a swordfight exhibition. We could still charge people to watch and even put it on the youtube. It'll be steak sauces.
