Since the Bears are off and I've got on Jets/Pack here.
I find my thoughts drifting to the plot of a Thomas Harris novel.
I've got Red Zone and a cold. Hooray.
I've got Jets/Pack and "Boys Will Be Boys" (||) Jeff Pearlman's behind-the-scenes book about the 1990s Dallas Cowboys (||). It's actually a terrific book that any football fan would enjoy. The game's kind of a dud though. It's hard-fought and all but the Jets aren't winning by 50 and Aaron Rodgers isn't on all fours coughing up his spleen. So, boo.
How bad is Dallas? Getting smoked by Jacksonville at home. The wideouts seem to want Jon Kitna to look like a bigger dickhead than he already is.
I am thoroughly enjoying media darlings Sanchez and Rodgers PANKing it all over the field today.

DPD, but meanwhile, on NBC's Football Night in America, you can look forward to part 2 of Tony Dungy's Why Jay Cutler Is To Blame For Everything Wrong With the Bear Organization, Including Ditka.
