OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Intrepid Reader Garth Algar

I mean, we're looking down on Wayne's basement. Only that's not Wayne's basement. Isn't that weird?

Good for breakfast too.

Though it is a bit pricey, and it's missing that roadside diner, "Delores the waitress" charm.

That book showed up at my house the day Salinger died. I ordered it and all. But it was almost weird.

Has anyone figured out a way to remove that site from your SB Nation account?

No dice, buddy.

QuoteSubject: How do I delete an SBNation blog from "My Blogs"

QuoteSean,

Once you have participated on a blog, we do not allow users to leave blogs. This is done to ensure conversation continuity. We have examined making some changes in this area, but for now, the system does not have that flexibility.

Thanks,
Chris

I'm going to tell him I want to be removed from BCB, having found the site offensive.

Wow.  This has all the makings of a terrible movie.

Stew, my prayers go out to you.  My mom died from breast cancer when I was 15.  Cancer is a rather serious tragedy.

"Jacque Jones played his first professional game at first base Thursday.
"It's a fun change for me," Jones said, "a lot of action. You're involved in almost every play." If Dusty Baker falls in love with using the veteran Jones, it would come at the expense of talented young players Chris Dickerson and Joey Votto. Even Baker isn't likely to do that.
Related: Joey Votto, Chris Dickerson"

At least Jock doesn't have to throw very far over at first base.

He'll do a great job throwing infield practice before innings.

Dave B and fiveouts were thinking what I was thinking.  His ability to spike a baseball into his shoelaces should serve him well as a first baseman.

For a Jock throw across the diamond, I would set the over/under at "Pitcher's mound".

Under.  Tossed at just the right angle, I'd take first base dugout.  Pretty confident with that pick, too.

Cards sign Dennys Reyes.

While I am a big fan of many of the Grand Slam deals, and the all night capability, I still feel like I am betraying IHOP every time I see one a Dennys.  This will however fit in nicely with the St. Louis crowd.

The Beatles' Rock Band will be released on 9/9/09 (Get it? "Number Nine, Number Nine, Number Nine).

The game takes players through an "unprecendented experiential progression" of the musical career of the band. (that's from the press release)

You can either buy the software, of the instrument bundle, which comes with instruments modeled after the Beatles' gear (Rick shorty for john, Hofner violin bass for Paul, "Beatles" drum head, that sort of thing).

I can't wait to play backup violin on "Eleanor Rigby."

How come no one boos Kosuke in the trailer?

It's great they focus on these "Signature walkups" instead of trying to sneak into EA HQ and steal...whatever they need to steal to copy MVP05.

And I just got to Gary Thorne. Shit.
