OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Anyone got a free mpg to FLV converter program?

http://www.youtube.com/
But I don't think I can upload and download from them.  And they will delete most broadcast stuff if you don't own the copyright.

Edit: To honestly answer your question: I use ffmpegx, but it's not available for Windows.

Fuck Larry Vannover for being a bigger pussy than Peyton Manning and MLB for backing up that blind, skirt-wearing gutless piece of shit.

First of all, fuck Peyton Manning and his whole fucking family. Second, why can't Milton understand that he built his own reputation and until he goes a whole season without losing his shit at an umpire, they're going to assume that he hasn't learned not to do that. I say you shouldn't do that because they hold grudges that could hurt you with suspensions at least and at worst with shitty calls in actual games. Leave the cunts alone and let Lou do his damn job. That said, I love Milton like a brother and I'm going to protest this suspension by setting something on fire. Probably a cop car or a Sox fan. Or a cop car with a Sox fan in it.... oh, that's good.

Racist.

Borderline at best. It's probably cool since Apex is black.

I don't get why they are trying to tax something that the government subsidizes.  If the idea is to get more revenue while making sugary sodas more expensive, wouldn't eliminating the sugar subsidy be the first step?

Few soft drinks/pop/soda use sugar; it's all HFCS except for a few niche producers. But, your point stands as far as corn subsidies go. I won't get in to the soda tax issue (again), but let's just say I'm less than a fan of corn subsidization.

Jose Hernandez.

This is how the "Greatest Thread Ever" started, isn't it?

I really don't know what to say about this, but this bullpen work tonight has been awesome. Chad Fox is probably done forever. Is there anyone the Cubs can trade for?
Using what as bait?  They can't absorb salary and their minors are empty.

Dear only site,

If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, and you have a stand, which model did you get and is it any good?  I really like the Podium, but $68 might be too much for a plastic stand.  (Yeah and $350 is probably too much for a music player, whatever.)

If this matters, I have the 32GB iPod touch.  (Refurb.)

What is the point of the stand?

It's for when you get a seemingly good Youporn video that was just shot at a bad angle.

Exactly.  It also makes a handy secondary monitor for keeping track of the Cubs on the MLB At Bat app.

Learning that YouPorn finally works on the iPhone/iPod Touch just made my night.

Yeah, Red Dead Revolver was great.  I'm sure I'll pick up Redemption but damn there are too many games coming out I know I'll want to pick up.

My must-haves for the remainder of 2009:
1.  Ghostbusters
1a.  Beatles Rock Band
2.  Red Dead Redemption
3.  Beyond Good and Evil 2
4.  Dead Rising 2
5.  BioShock 2

Jury's still out:  Wolfenstein, Dark Void (I think this game could end up being pretty badass), Fight Night Round 4, Assassin's Creed 2, Deus Ex 3, Half-Life 2: Episode III

Half Life 2: Ep III should be great.  Then again, I'm just a HL fanboy.  Can't wait to see how they integrate Aperture Science into it.  Didn't like Bioshock, but I played it on the PC and it just played like a clunky console FPS and I don't like FPS games on consoles.  I know I'll have to get Lego Rock Band just to grab songs off it (and all the lego games are just fun anyway).  I'm still playing catch up with games since I just bought the 360 about a month ago.  Right now I'm loving Fable 2 and will have to DL that Knothole Island pack and the new pack they announced.  Still want to get Skate 2 but not until I've exhausted Skate 1 and I can find it cheap.  Also have to get that Lost and the Damned for GTA IV.

I agree about HL2.  I'm really skeptical about BioShock 2 because like you, I thought it was a pretty terrible FPS (both on PC and console), but the story/environment made up for it.  If the sequel doesn't have a good story (Ken Levine isn't working on it), it will be awful.  I still have to play the first Dead Rising and Beyond Good & Evil; especially the latter.  As for Redemption, I never played Revolver, but this game sounds pretty sweet.  My list is probably:

1. Assassin's Creed 2
2. Mass Effect 2
3. HL2: Episode III
4. Uncharted 2
5. Ghostbusters
6. Modern Warfare 2

I'm on the fence with Prototype, Dark Void, and Batman: Arkham Asylum.

And you want to be a game developer?  SHAME ON YOU.

He's also more excited about the sequel to Assassin's Creed than any other game. The first 30 minutes of that game: awesome. Playing a loop of basically the same 30 minutes through 9 iterations: fucking snoozefest

The graphics were sweet, but fuck that noise again, and again, and again. I never finished and I have no desire to pick it back up.

That list wasn't really in any particular order.  But from what I've read about this game, they've fixed a large majority of the problems with the first.  I agree that the repetition was annoying as shit.

Did they fix the "glitch" where you could tape down the "block" button, go brew a pot of coffee, rub one out, read the paper, wash the dishes, rub another one out, and return to find your guy in perfect health? Because that was pretty stupid.

In before MikeC!

This turned out to be remarkably prescient.  Well played, Mr. Dickens.

I'd be willing to wager it was more "observant" than "prescient."

Fuck Chrysler. If they were stupid enough to hire Bob Nardelli after he ran Home Depot into the ground (and got $200MM to go away), they deserve what they get.

Not that Fork has any personal bitterness.

Morph obviously doesn't have Desipio Platinum with the "MikeC Alert" extension module.
