OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Called Hoff's excellent swing on the pinch-dong off Ohka. Second time he's called a HoffPOWER Jimmy-Jack this season.

Fucking awesome. I'm a little too happy right now.

<---- FACE'd

I called it too.  From the bleachers.  I won money.

I saw the bleachers empty out pretty quickly after that...where did everyone go now that there's no more Hi-Tops?

Take a walk down Clark St. some time. Its douche runneth over.

Go to Goose Island--it's the one place I haven't felt like I've been in a crowd of douchiness.  Maybe it's that they charge $5 for a pint of non-swill.  They should bottle it and call it 'Douche Repellent' instead of beer.  At least their IPA and Bourbon County Stout, and probably their Oatmeal Stout too.

The food sucks.

Get the beer nachos with steak.  I won't say anything else on the menu is good there, but those are tits out awesomeness.

But mediocre food is worth surviving for good beer and no douchebags.  Is there a place in Wrigleyville that has good food?

Since Chuck is in attendance today, I blame him for the shitfest at Wrigley Field.
You are welcome.  Was a guest of the same guy who took me to the 9-1 trail to 10-9 win last year.

FYF.

Gladly taken. It's what I get for forgetting they play until the last out in this league.

I was going to post something as a facebook status update during the last Sux game in the 8th, but then I thought I should wait until the game ended.

Glad I did.

Fortunately Cleveland's steamer was just a little bigger.

And _ _ _ for who scored the winning run.

11 days between FYC's this time--I guess that's improvement?

First championship-related post #1908.*

*I haven't researched this thread well enough to back this claim 100%, but I'm guessing it's true.

6 hits in 13 fucking innings?  First and third, nobody out, 2-3-4 coming up and nothing?

That whole facing shitty pitching and getting runs thing is off to a great start.  This offense is absolutely fucking pathetic right now.

Fixed.

Can't you guys let this thread die in peace?  Turdblow is flipping burgers at the local A & W.

And missing the grill with each one.

Well played.

Edit: Holy shit!  I have one more post on this account--#1908 is going to come tomorrow, on graduation (and hopefully Stanley Cup) day.

Guzman has been good, Ascanio has been decent, Waddell can't be worse than Cotts, and Marshall will be in the bullpen soon.

Drink a beer, dude.

I'm all for giving Guzman a crack at closing, because it's not going to matter if it gets worse than Gregg.  The only way it'll matter is if it gets better, and at this point, I'm willing to toss Gregg to the 6th inning wolves and see if Guzman can close.

If it doesn't work, the motivation to drink beer is all the same.

17 days between FYC's is a pretty long time.

This team should be really happy that Randy Wells is not Ted Lilly.  If he were the Bull Moose, there might not be a team left tomorrow morning.

And with good reason.

I'm starting to think that this Cubs team is doing to Lou what the Penguins did to Therrien this season--give up on a hardass coach until a change is made.

Stop talking about Pittsburgh all the time.

Finally, someone said it.

And what was all that shit about Pittsburgh? What the FUCK, has anything got to do with Pittsburgh?

You know--sometimes teams playing different sports behave the same way.

I'm just looking for an explanation, and besides, it's just like my opinion man.
