I hear ya.  I deleted all the eps off my Tivo once the NBA season came around because I thought a DVD would be out soon enough.

Yeah, I just watched a deleted scene, and she had a martini.  Then it jumped to a shot of her smoking.  Then she snorted four huge rails.

I can't believe I'm asking this (I guess it IS a soap opera, after all), but didn't Jan make a point to drink a N/A beverage at the party?  I've already deleted the episode.

Post #2006 can't come soon enough.  The Blueberry heads are going to burn my motel room down.

I thought Sports Night was too precocious, West Wing too much, but I liked Studio 60.  A LOT.  Pissed off, now.

Was this the first 30 Rock without a Rachel Dratch cameo?  Even though she's not pretty, she would have made that blonde character SO much funnier.  The redneck girl from Vacation is playing that character like a watered-down version of Lindsey Funke.

Yeah, and you have to suspend disbelief, and that sucks sometimes.  Why would Matthew Perry's character tell the Corddry kid to lie?  Oh, yeah, so something that happens an episode and a half later makes sense.  I didn't think the door would lock, I just thought the snake would bite that smug guy and Amanda Peet would go into Florence Nightengale mode on him.

The thing I like about 30 Rock, after having watched Fey's up/down years at SNL, is that you can pretty much pick a joke 15 minutes before it happens.  Once you found out that Reubens was a prince, after having seen his state in the previews, you knew an incest joke was on its way.  After the page and Tracy had their first showdown in the office ("lick her face!," classic) you knew they were going to take that to it's logical extension: the devil/angel back and forth.

Seconded.  While Ryan has become a complete tool, it's just because he's so annoyed with himself for taking a permanent job there, that he hates everything about the office, including Jim's antics.  Honestly, if I really hated that job (and myself for working it), Jim would be pretty annoying, and I'd probably act just like Ryan.  His character really has some bite to it now.  Good stuff.

It's great.  I like the fact that they don't go down the "watered-down Jim" path, some snarky-but-charming guy for the blogger girls to adore.  You can't stand the guy, and have no reason to.  Just leave it like that.  Don't add anything.

Creed's snaps something in his brain, too.  That was a fun eight seconds.

Yeah, I just watched it again (Darryl saying, "this is the greatest night of my LIFE") and still don't get it.  Either I'm an idiot, or this is like Cow Tools.  I'm leaning toward the former.
