I still can't figure how that Cardinal pitching staff was that good during the season. Did they run out of HGH in the playoffs. Their only good outing came from  Cuzzis giant strike zone.

The best thing for me is that this team isn't a catch lightning in a bottle team. It's a very likable, young, built from the ground up with a bright future. It's made rooting for them even better.

Can we call him The Genius or has that been taken?

I have slowed way down on my Cub fandom waiting patiently for them to get good again. Right now as they shuttle through crappy players, 90 plus loss seasons, no free agent activity, and playoff elimination by May 1st my interest has waned. Once the kids start coming up interest for me will pick up again.

Plenty of room on the tombstone for Roland.
