OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Former Cy Young winner Bob Welch dies at age 57

http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on-baseball/24584780/former-cy-young-winner-bob-welch-dies-at-age-57

True story: Back in 1990, the year he went 27-6, I dropped him from my fantasy team after his 8th start. He was 4-2.
He also had a 1.71 ERA at the time, but whatever I was 13 and probably picked up some rookie who had one good start.

Obvious math, but he went 23-4 the rest of the way.
The only stats we kept then were Wins, Losses, ERA and Ks.

In a lifetime of stupid, awful fantasy moves, this one remains my all-time worst.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

I remember that Welch was a recovering alcoholic in his playing days...wonder what did him in.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

At least you weren't counting on him this year. So you have that going for you.
