Adam West, objectively the best Batman.

Also objectively the coolest of the 60s camp show stars. He (and Burt Ward) always embraced the cheesiness, unlike Fred Gwynne or Tina Louise.

Speaking of Burt Ward, the record "Boy Wonder I Love You" (Produced by FZ) is a classic.

I always think of West as the anti-Shatner. Hammy, overblown performer, but he knew it and embraced it. To this day, I feel like Shatner still embraces his reputation through gritted teeth.

Shatner was 100% earnest when he did "Rocket Man". He don't think he finally got in on the joke until he was in one of Airplane movies.

Nah. He knew Airplane 2 was comedy, but he gave an interview to Dick Clark where he said it was a "manic" of Kirk. He never really got "in" on it until after Miss Congeniality and became Denny Crane.

An pilot for a show written by Conan O'Brien and Robert Smigel starring West as a former TV detective who solves crimes in real life.  Well worth a watch.
Andre Dawson paid his $1,000 fine for the Joe West incident with style. Dawson wrote ``Donation for the blind`` in the memo section of his personal check.

If he was sleeping with 8 women a night I doubt that he had much time for sleeping.
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

Did they have to take a number and sit in the waiting room until called?

Adam West being a greater cocksmith than Wilt Chamberlain is a legend I can live with.
