Very Listenable: The Jim Deshaies Ear Music Thread

Figured he deserves a thread of his own.

I've seen Deshaies get bashed a couple times of late (not on here, just on internet comment sections in general).

I like him, though. He can break down the game, but he's also got a really quick and dry sense of humor that works great with Len.

There've been lots of examples of it that I can't remember because I'm not Huey, but, just today:

Len: Happen to receive Popular Mechanics?

JD: Uh, I do not.

Len: Kluber was on the cover of the April issue this year.

JD: Pitching magazine, huh?

I like JD as well. He's smart, his analysis is good, he meshes well with Len, and he frequently drops FIP and everything else into casual conversation.  

Who are the clods bashing JD? He is the absolute best.

Probably the same ones who are still rocking Theriot and DeRosa shirseys and think "Horry Cow" is hilarious.

Also enjoyed how quick he was today with the Judge Smails reference upon seeing the biddies in the first row wearing hats that may or not have come with a free bowl of soup (looked good on them, though).

I don't hate Len and JD having Patrick Mooney in the booth with them.  He seems intelligent and thoughtful and fits in very nicely with them.
