I was all for Lou giving Hoffpauir a few starts ala Fuld over Soriano to get Lee's ass moving, if it got much worse--but Lee turned it around in time.

I'm more excited for Aramis to come back, so the Jake Fox/Hoffpauir LF platoon era can begin.

How do you gauge who's performing?  A player's last five at-bats?  10?  20?  1,000?
