OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Anyone got a rub recipe for a pork shoulder they've been happy with?

The old ball-and-socket been giving you trouble when it rains, Fork?

Just like Aramis Ramirez.

It will go nicely with chicken...

Went to see what all the fuss about Honky Tonk was this Saturday. I really like Pilsen, reminds of what Bucktown/Wicker Park used to be like.  Really cool place, very old feeling, good music, hipster staff.
BBQ was really good, very similar to Smoke Daddy or Smoque.
Banana Bread pudding was fantastic.

If you ever have the misfortune of staying in Buffalo, NY, Suzy-Q's BBQ is worth hitting up.  It's owned and operated by a couple of retired bikers.  They smoke their BBQ on the premises and make their own Kansas City, Memphis, and North Carolina-style BBQ's.  Shockingly good.

Brand BBQ Market on Armitage, just west of California. It's a small BYOB/carry-out type place. I had the pork sandwich, and it kicked ass. Much better than Smoque, in my opinion.

Smoque's brisket is top notch. Everything else I had there wasn't any better than any other bbq place in the city.
I'll have to get out to brand, sounds like a winner.

2755 West Belmont would place it within a block or so from Kuma's, no?

If that place is any good, you'll have three blue-chip eateries within a mile of one another in an otherwise nondescript, sparse area (Hot Dougs, at California & School, being the third).  I don't even know what you'd call that neighborhood...North Logan Square?
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

I have some friends who live in the area.

We've taken to just calling the neighborhood "Hot Doug's" (a la St. Ben's).
