OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Outstanding show, bought the DVD's.  Spot on with the "Arrested" comparison, as I think "Sunny" can assuredly hold its own.  Has anyone taken the time to watch the commentaries?

Charlie is the funniest character on TV. Frank, and his gun, ain't bad either.

There are only two for the whole DVD set.  Nothing particularly great.

I too was disappointed when I noticed that only two were on the discs, but total notwithstanding, they were good commentaries.  Then, that disappointment was ameliorated when I watched the "The Gang Fucks Up" vignette.  Gold, Jerry, Gold...

PS - In real life, the characters who play Mac and Dee are dating.

That Seinfeld reference is well taken.  This show is what would happen if the Seinfeld characters moved from the Upper West Side to South Philly.

Been watching seasons 1 and 2 on recent plane rides...this really is the funniest show around.

Time to download season three from iTunes.

I bought these fairly recently.  I actually think the show might have been a little better the first season, before Danny DeVito joined the cast.  Even though the show in general is over the top, he's just way too over the top.  Or maybe I just don't like him cause he creeps me out.  Charlie is by far the best character on there though, and while I don't think it's as good as "Arrested," it definitely is an edgier "Seinfeld," which I cannot complain with at all.

Girl: Hey, you're really hard core, aren't you?
Mac: Ah, well you know--if you really want to see hard core.
Girl: What's this?
Mac: That's a list of doctors I'm gonna kill.
Girl: There's two already crossed out!
Mac: Yeah, I know.

I wasn't crazy about DeVito at first either, but he was awesome in the third season. The first season is still the best though.

I love DeVito in this show. For example: Bang Maid.

Bang Maid was good. My favorite moment was his acid trip in the garbage can. That combined with Charlie in his green suit was comedy gold.

The green man! When Charlie gets all pissed because Frank put acid in his beer...well that's not a conversation I thought I would hear on TV.
