I just found out Superdawg was still in business. Damn fine dog, as I recall.

Anyone go there? If so, is it still any good?

Definitely go-- get the fried veggies too, everything you get will be confortably nestled in a bed of superfries as well.

They still use the old-fashioned "drive-ups".  They'll bring it out and rest the tray on your driver-side window.  When you're done, you just flick the switch to have them come out and get it.

Damn fine dog w/fries.  The wife likes the Supercheezie, wihch is a burger on brown bread.  The pickled green tomato that comes with the dog is defintely a unique touch.

Bastards!  I was right there Thursday.  Settled for a cheap hot dog at Costco (needed to buy some snacks for work).

I've got to get my driver's license and license plates changed Monday, at the Motor Vehicle on Elston - sounds like round two to me...

Just hit up Superdawg on N. Milwaukee for the first time this Friday...  Pretty good.  The tomato was kindof a crazy taste.

Afterwards, I played Guitar Hero, drank a ton of beers, did shots at Blarneystone till closing and puked the Superdawg right back up.

Needless to say, but it was much better the first go around...

I'm assuming they're only waiting for the spring because the site looks ready.

The owner was my real estate lawyer and he said Spring of 2009.  Not a typo.  I'm assuming by this summer.

I'd guess they'd want to iron out any operational bugs before peak season. But, yeah, it looks good to go.

If they need someone to test the operations of the place, I'm sure I could find some volunteers.
