I wonder how many threads we have to appropriate for talk about the Cubs TV color vacancy. I'd say handful.

1.  The whole to appropriate?
2.  I'd say handful too.

Fuck. The phone was ringing.

And on the other end was PROFIT the nazi police state, demanding Apex report to jury duty.

Apex' butthurt from 10/17/12'd.

Apex got a letter from the government that said they were suckers?

They wanted me for their jury or whatever. Picture me giving a damn. I said, "NEVER!!!!"

Pollyellon handicapped the candidates, and I will recommend him to any sports book in Vegas. But, that's for the Pollyeloon thread.

Who isn't being discussed as Brenly's replacement that should be? I'll give a few suggestions, in no particular order:

1. Mike Bielecki
2. Dave Otto
3. Rick Monday
4. Lou Piniella (Come on, Steve Lyons has been linked to the job, can't the guying hablaing espanol get a chance too?)
5. Shawon Dunston
6. Mike Krukow
7. Billy Buckner

I'm of course partial to Otto but by all accounts Krukow would be a solid pick if they could lure him away from the Bay.

Krukow has been very good the few times I've heard him over the years.

Monday wouldn't be bad either.

Krukow does the Giants broadcasts.  Krukow is funny.  He gives out good vibes.  But he is something of a homer, and very content to be with the Giants.

I can't picture Kuiper and Krukow breaking up for any reason other than death or some kind of gross crime.

If Krukow were to get the job, it'd be the second time in recent years that the TV color guy and the radio color guy had been traded for each other either by or to the Cubs.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

I was going to argue that point but realized I'd Pank'd the punchline and let it go. So thanks.

I'm hesitant to rip on the him since he seems like an earnest, nice guy but since Pen and Thrill have already kicked it off I'm just going to have to say it:

That guy is horribly, horribly unfunny.
