Or this HILARIOUSNESS?

And to think... That guy thought he could replace JD.

I'm hesitant to rip on the him since he seems like an earnest, nice guy but since Pen and Thrill have already kicked it off I'm just going to have to say it:

That guy is horribly, horribly unfunny.

I actually didn't even know that I "knew" this person.
He wasn't bad in his old SBox days.

Doesn't mean I'd be hesitant to rip on him though.

Since when does familiarity breed any sort of amnesty around here?

I wasn't really trying to pile on.

Mostly just noting who the author is.

And in fairness to him, it's probably hard to be funny in that horrible creation of Jimmy Greenfi's.  In retrospect, I'm glad, for Kermit's sake, that the latter didn't go down that road although I gotta think he'd be funnier than the collective ball of lameness that's been printed there.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

I'm stumped - who is this Captain Meatball? What was his HJE name?

read the comments.

WHAT? IS THIS FOR REAL?

I liked this one:

QuoteWhy not get Obama to take over Bob Brenly's spot in the Cubs broadcast booth? He is going to join 25 million other Americans on the unemployment rolls in January. And with his propensity for lying, he could try to convince Cubs fans that the team is actually good. And Obama would not have to physically be there. All WGN would have to do is put an empty chair in the broadcast booth flanked by 2 teleprompters. And the lines could be spoon fed to chair. I doubt anyone would know the difference!

I miss you guys.

Where ya been, playa?

Livin, man.  L-i-v-i-n.  Can't get on at work, so only leaves at home.  I only have time for really important internet, like cat videos on youtube.  Then I remember a place I used to go.  A place where everybody knows my name.  It's that fringe messageboard about that terrible team that causes me grief even though I know it shouldn't matter to me, only the fringe messageboard isn't really about that team at all.  It's about a bunch of dudes hangin out and talkin junk, y'all.  SAP!  Where've those guys been?  And lookie here!  They been here the whole time.  Oh, how humiliating.  For ME.  I missed it all!  Where have I been?  You know?  Where HAVE I been?

Th efollowing was written by a "commenter" on the Official Cubs Website following an article that reported that the Cubs got a 21 year old pitcher from the Tigers to finalize  the trade for Baker:

"The old scenerio continues Cubs dont give Baker much of a chance trade him get another minor or  rokkie we willwatch in 2013 prospects like whatr thety acquired for Baker get pounded while Baker Will help 7put numbers up for Atlanta makking the Cubs high archey eat crow  while the Cub Fans suffer another long season like 2012 atta way Epstein Nice going Hoyer"

If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

So I guess this was written in Russian then run through Babelfish, right?
