Extra innings: The Brewers are willing to sign ex-Cub Ryan Dempster for two years, but he is holding out for three.

I hope they give him four just to make sure they've got him locked down.

He'll get four from the Yankees after Jim Hendry convinces Brian Cashman it's the smart move.

If Dempster pitches like Rangers Dempster I'm all for it. But he's going to have a hot stretch wherever he pitches next year. Let's not pretend the guy is Jason Germano.

I wouldn't advise that. You would be crazy to let Dempster work on your Volvo, but Jason Germano might be your guy.

Now as far as Justin Germano, he has a bit more in common with Dempster, but the Canadian is better at most things pitching related. I'm pretty sure Germano does a better Harry Caray though.
