Did they really? I'm seeing mostly "meh for meh" from people.

Yoervis Medina is pretty much exactly what I thought the Cubs should get for Castillo. There wasn't much chance they'd get Ackley or Furbush for a backup catcher.

Honestly, I think I'd rather have Medina than Ackley.

My only concern is the dip in velocity everyone is talking about. Could be mechanical I suppose. Guessing Epstink wouldn't have made the move if they thought he was broken. In general this regime's rehabilitated enough arms that it's pretty hard to be skeptical whenever they pick one up.
