Okay I can see that I was being extra dickish with my hot taek yesterday and I apologi.  The whole thing saddens and frustrates me from every angle, and I'll just leave it at that.  I am Kelly Dwyer-disapproved sincere about what I wrote about the quantity, though.  I even tipped my cat, Spuds, in your honor.  As you and CT know, I wrote about the Cubs quasi-consistently for 6 years  and, looking back, I  don't know how I had the time to do that.  That's more for CT who has 14 daughters of course. So cheers to both of you assholes. Sincerely.  And thanks for the ShoutBox.

You really missed an opportunity to add "hot potaeko" to the lexicon. What we lost. What we could still probably have.

BTW I so wanted to finish with "NOW GO GET YOUR SHOUTBOX" after it popped into my head I but was afraid it would serve to undermine my sincerity, such as it did for Billy Batts.

it's been an impressive run and I tip my cat to you.

I've been debating for the last few minutes whether it would be funnier if this was intentional or unintentional. At first I pictured you tipping your cat over and a bunch of potato skins spilling out, but then I realized that was unrealistic as you would never waste the most nourishing part of the tater like that.

I've been laughing at "tip my cat" for a good 10 minutes.

The "t" and the "p" are five keys away from one another.

Even the "h" and the "c" are separated by a few keys.

Apologi accepted, and sincerity acknowledged.  My asshurt stemmed mostly from the fact that like Fork, I was very excited about writing about this season, and had literally put the finishing touches on a hilariously (I think) profane preview/gloat fest for the Anaheim Ducks the day before this all started.

I admit it:  I looked at the keyboard to see if I could use the "h" and "c" excuse in my defense but PANK SAY NO

Jacob Turner.

Claimed by the 2014-15 American League Off-Season Champions, the Chicago White Sox, who have already added Mike Olt in their quest to corner the market on the Cubs' sloppy seconds.

Well, that's a little weird.  This dude, of whom I have no conscious memory whatsoever, popped into my head on Monday and I actually Googled his name to make sure that I wasn't imagining him.
Your toilet's broken, Dave, but I fixed it.
