OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

How about Marvell Wynne?

Man, what's with all the hate for Marvell?  The guy's been named like 6 times in this thread.

Marvell Wynne hadFreddie Bynum has blinding speed. By which I mean he was so fast he blinded you to the fact that he couldn't play baseball.

Other Cubs with blinding speed include Rodney Scott and Jerry White.

Did we leave out Mark Bellhorn?
Except for the fact in the Ted Lilly one that you can see the baseball in his hand behind the knife. I don't know about the first one but I'm be very, very surprised if the second picture is an actual ad.

I'm too lazy to go back and look, but did Doug F. Glanville end up on here?

I'm pretty sure Doug was named.

Yep, i got him back on page 4739572.

This has really become the mixed nuts where the repeat players are represented by Brazil Nuts and non-repeats are the tasty cashews.  The cashews are all but gone and we're left with a whole bunch of untasty Brazil Nuts.

Joe Strain, however, is a cashew.  I'm certainhe has not been mentioned, as I nearly woke up in the middle of the night over the weekend having recalled him.  It was all I could do to keep from jumping out of bed at 3 AM and logging his name here.  Nice catch, brf.

Incidentally, Joe Strain was traded for Jesus Figueroa.  If memory serves, he was also the Opening Day starting second baseman in '81.

I'll go crawl back in my cave now but, since I've commented, I have to drop a name.

So I'll go with ummm,  let's see,  who's left,  ehhh...

I did not see Jeff Blauser anywhere on this list.  If he was mentioned he deserves to be named more then once anyway.
