I haven't heard much lately about DLP TVs, but as long as you don't mind the fact that they're a bit bulkier than an LCD, I'm pretty sure the quality is fantastic.  The only thing I think I remember hearing about them is that the bulb inside has a tendency to burn out faster than other types of TVs, but again, I'm not positive about that.  Both Amazon and Newegg have perfect 5s for customer reviews, albeit a very small number of them, but I'd say that's still a pretty good sign.

Great picture, cannot wall mount.  Bulb burns out, but fairly cheap to replace.  Also takes a few minutes for the picture to full project as the bulb has to warm up.  Only reason to pass on DLP is the size.

That model has 3 HDMIs, 3 Component, and a PC hook up.  Seems pretty good.

Price is terrific.

DO NOT BUY HDMI CABLES AT BEST BUY.

Yeah, they're pretty thick TVs.  Not as big as those old gigantic projection sets, but probably a good 3-4x thicker than an LCD.  And as Chuck said, do not buy HDMI cables from Best Buy or any electronics store.  Go to MonoPrice.com, particularly looking at these cables:

That's a good price.  I bought the 46" Samsung version of this tv from Amazon last year and have had no complaints.  I actually paid more than the price shown, but that was also a year ago.
