Where can person look for temporary housing possibly with other student/professor/graduate types? Are bulletin boards of this kind associated with the local universities? Air bnb seems too pricey and Craigs List will get you murdered?

Noodling on cutting the cable cord and the biggest problem is Cubs games on Comcast. I've got an Apple TV. If I have a friend who lives outside the Cubs blackout area buy an MLB TV subscription for me, will that work - is it determined by the zip code on his credit card? Or would MLB "know" I'm in Chicago because of the IP address connected to my Apple TV?

Does an HD indoor antenna pick up that channel in chicago (can check on tvfool.com/‎)? We bought one for $30 and it works amazingly well.

This is probably a dumb question but can't you only pick up broadcast channels (WGN, Fox, NBC, etc) over an antenna? Comcast Sports Net is a cable channel.

Comcast Chicago is available. In Chicago, you can get locals. I only see CBS2 specifically listed but others could be there. You can access the app on an Amazon Fire Stick. Though the price is still decent for the service, I think the biggest advantage to it is that you're not paying a monthly fee for each receiver or the DVR service. For example, I am paying $37/month through Dish for 3 receivers, DVR service, and the protection plan (have to whenever you have a service call). That would be eliminated with Vue.

So, before I start my trial after the ADULT REVOLT, anyone have any experience with this?
