11 BB for Gallardo?  Can that be right?

He was bad, but not that bad.

What's really great about this last week is the way the Brewers are gift-wrapping the division for our Scubbies and they treat it just like a Christmas fruitcake and send it on back. They're practically begging the Flubs to sac up and run away laughing with the division and yet still they manage to trip all over their angry 1-inch dicks. Absolutely. Fucking. Pathetic.

Which are they - Scubbies or Flubs?

And how is it possible to trip over a 1-inch dick, especially an angry one?

answers, man! I need answers!

You already have your answers. Just one derogatory name's not enough when dealing with this team that's heaped a century of pain, ignorance and ineptitude upon us. And come on, it's the Cubs, of course they could find a way to trip over angry, 1-inch.

I'm hoping the worm has turned on the Cardinals because they just took a real tough loss tonight... I watched them for an hour waiting for the Cubs to come on, and Wainwright was filthy. As the Cubs took the four-run lead, I turned back just in time to see Russell Martin (In the top of the ninth) scorch a grounder that Rolen probably gets 8 out of 10 times but misses. Then, Wainwright hangs a curve to Loney who promptly crushes a homer to right center and makes it 2-0 Dodgers. After a five-minute switch to the Cubs I check back on the other game and the Cardinals have runners on. Molina hits what would've been a game-ending double play except Nomar inexplicably decides to dive for the ball, allowing a run to score and not getting any outs. Thankfully, Saito then gets Ludwick and Kennedy to strike out and end the game.

Have we moved on to self-parody now, or what?

Wait until the over-the-top piece he does after they're eliminated.

Maybe I was wrong last night. The Cardinals faced Lowe today and just flat wore him out. Ankiel needs to get plunked, he's leaned out over the plate and pulled pitches on the outside corner out of the park on two of his three homers.

Of course, the Cardinals get the Padres and Dodgers when those teams are playing absolutely horribly while the Cubs played those teams when they were hot.

The Cardinals have been outscored by 100 runs this year.  They suck.  They suck balls.  Stop it.

Those Cardinals aren't red, they're yellow.  Like the Spanish!

I didn’t think there was anything more annoying than fans who claim “the season ain’t over ‘till the Cubs are mathematically eliminated,” and attempt to bring the positive during train wreck seasons when the team is 15 games out.

Turns out, I was wrong.

Man, a Hawkins vs. a Patterson.

That will always hurt the Cubs.

After an argument yesterday which resulted in Prince Fielder getting ejected, he should be getting some time off in the next couple days if the definition of "contact with an umpire" is still the same it was a couple months ago with Lou's suspension. Yost also touched the umpire while trying to separate Fielder and the umpire, but that looked inadvertent.
