It's actually the second verse of Cave 76's National Anthem.

Of course, this being the same league office that didn't suspend Oswalt in 2004 for his BS and this also being the same league office that is run by the former owner of the Brewers, Fielder won't get anything and the umpire will be lucky not to be fined.

I feel good to know that this thread will be screaming bloody murder all the way up to the final pitch of the final game of the season. It's been good times no matter what BC does to ruin it.

Everyone get off the ledge.  Leave BC on his own out there.  The Cubs will be fine.  Tonight they face some turd named Phil Dumatrait, who is letting people hit .395 off him this year.  And we've got Ted Lilly going.  He's going to murder the Reds.  8-1 Cubs win.

Cubs will go 5-1 the rest of this homestand.

Book it, ogdens.

The next two games are the most important games of the year.

Until the two after that.

Then the two after those.

And then the two after those.  Oh, you get the idea.

Last night's loss was rough, but only because of how close they came to a completely improbable win when Murton and Fontenot just missed homers in the ninth.  I was encouraged by the way they kept fighting back, which we hadn't seen in a while, and that the Cubs actually hit three homers in one game.  Of course, in true Cubs fashion, three solo homers.

Why do you have to positive the white guys near-homers, but poo-poo the black and Latino blasts?

Racist.
