Indeed it is.

Except when it isn't.

You don't want to go to Kansas City, KS or Kansas City, MO.

But that's just me'ed.

No, it isn't.

What about Arkansas City, Kansas?  Uh huh - yeah, wrap your head around that one.

Amen.

I love Chicago, and I'll wholeheartedly agree that it's a cooler city than Kansas City.  But still, I like it here.  There's plenty to do -- lots of concerts and shows, and the food is great.  Plus, for a decent-sized city, traffic and cost of living are manageable.

Anyway, if either Kerm or Slaky want to put aside their geographical snobbery and come visit, the barbecue is on me.  I'll probably make you find a hotel to stay in though.  No gay stuff.

Could be -- Bryant's is really good, and probably the most legendary of the KC barbecue places.  Gates is also another famous one, but I'm not a huge fan of their sauce.

Personally, I like Oklahoma Joe's the best.  It's actually located in one half of a gas station, so it's got a nice dive feel to it.

Those are probably your three best bets, depending on what you want.

Best 'cue. I don't care if it's from the back of a '64 Falcon wagon.

Oklahoma Joes, huh.  Might have to check that one out.

Kansas City is where I go to have fun on the weekendes.  It's a little more exciting than Ogden, Kansas.

They haven't made it to the front of the buiding where I work yet.  Newspaper bins aren't the sort of thing you want to bring out all at once.  You gotta phase them in.

I wasn't kidding, but it's not geographical snobbery.  I just don't like going anywhere.  I will make an exception, but only if EG breaks his hotel rule and lets me sleep under his coffee table.
