CHICAGO -- Cincinnati Reds right-hander Aaron Harang will have an MRI exam on his right forearm after he experienced discomfort early Wednesday.

Harang lasted only 4 1/3 innings Tuesday night, when he yielded a career-high seven walks in a 7-3 loss to the Cubs. He left for Cincinnati before Wednesday night's game, and will likely miss his last start before the All-Star game.

"I'm going to do some treatment beforehand and then go over and get my MRI done," Harang said in the Reds clubhouse on Wednesday.

Harang said the arm started bothering him Wednesday morning and, after talking with manager Dusty Baker and pitching coach Dick Poole, he decided to have it checked again.
