QuoteConsidering how well Albert bounces back from injuries, if he has the surgery Sep 29th, I wouldn't be shocked if he was in the lineup opening day. That would give him all of Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, and Feb to rest and March to start getting ready.

And remember: He's not human.

Now how can a man his age bounce back so quickly from injuries? It must be due to healthy living and working out.

And massive amounts of HGH.

Then again if Albert goes down there is someone who could fill in for him.

QuoteToday, McGwire says, he works out twice a day and still weighs 245 pounds. "I can still hit, if somebody wants me," he said. "Now, wouldn't that be a shocker?"

I love the Brewers bullpen, and I'd like all of you to love them too.

Oil Can Boyd? He's pitching for the Brewers? He's almost 50. No wonder they give up so many late leads

A Corey Patterson double, Keppinger moves him over to third. Intentional walk to Votto. Brandon Phillips singles in Strut, and Francisco Cordero goes one, two, three to close it out.

Can anyone in this division win a game?

The Astros sure can.

Thank god for the Brewers sucking and the Bears not sucking.

Incredibly, the Phillies lost too, so the Cubs lost no ground to the two teams that matter most. Though I note from my perch far out on this ledge that the Cards are now just a half-game back of Philly, and the Astros one game back.

A couple of wins here would be helpful, guys.

Your Cincinnati Reds vs. CC Sabthia:

CF  Hairston Jr., Jerry
SS  Keppinger, Jeff
1B  Votto, Joey
3B  Encarnacion, Edwin
RF  Bruce, Jay
LF  Cabrera, Jolbert
2B  Phillips, Andy
C  Hanigan, Ryan
P  Arroyo, Bronson

I'll go with two hits.

Two bases loaded (on walks and errors) home runs would be fine.

Sabathia throwing a 130+ pitch game followed by his arm fucking exploding would also be very swell.
