I'm not understanding the "Little Pumas". What the hell is that all about?

Little Pumas? I thought that was the name of the Hillary Clinton 2008 Youth Club.

Because if it were anything with 'Panthers' in it, they'd probably end up hanging from the Crawford boxes?

The Astros just got shutout by Zach Duke, managing 4 total hits.

Duke, with a 4.36 career ERA coming in, and a very impressive .307 BAA for his career, now has allowed 1 run in 15.1 IPs in 2009 against the Cardinals and Astros.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

Duke has a very good pedigree, and has shown flashes of brilliance.  Pissburgh also has burnt through definitely a few pitching coaches in his time there, which can't be good for the development of a young arm.  And I think it's a contract year--I wouldn't be surprised if Duke puts up very solid numbers this season.

Fuck it, Bucs/Stros is a total cripple fight. Those teams couldn't make the AAA playoffs.

Houston already has a run differential of -27.

That can't be good, can it?

They're setting the Cubs up for a SNEAK ATTACK.
Take that, Adolf Eyechart.

Carpenter leaves the game for the Cardinals with an injury. Words cannot express my surprise.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015
