Weird question, with an answer that I'm sure will make me feel dumb, but where on the si.com page do you find links to the print articles?  Can't find the link above anywhere on the MLB or the Cubs page on si.com, and it's not the first time I've seen links to print articles that I haven't been able to find on my own.

First of all, I'd like to tell you how much I enjoy reading your pieces on the Cubs. You're the writer I can count on to tell it like it is...as a result, I believe you get more respect from online communities such as Desipio than any other writer.

I noticed this week's Sports Illustrated has a Cubs article. Before we go all "curse" here (a goat didn't kick the double play ball that would have ended the 8th inning in Game 6 - not an actual goat anyway), I was curious about something...

I keep seeing the name John Murray as the person who copyrighted the "It's Gonna Happen" phrase that is being pushed as the Cubs' slogan. It's never clear exactly what "it" is, and for us Cub fans, "it" is never a happy thing anyway. The article in SI credits him, and says he's a commodities trader. This isn't the same John Murray who was the commodities trader who attacked Randy Myers, is it?

I think it would be pretty ironic that someone who ran on the field to attack a Cub player would now try to profit off the team.

Well, anyway, keep up the good work, and guys like me will keep reading. Even if "it" involves the usual disappointment, or the unusual kind, that scatters our souls' ashes, this Cub team has been fun to watch and follow in the paper.

Which one of you geniuses sent a verbatim copy of this letter to Miles?

More joyful positive - the Cubs are 1 game out of the Wild Card, and the two teams surrounding them play each other this weekend.

The Cubs could very well finish the weekend in playoff position.
